We are now selling rhinestone ends for your Bridal Sash Ribbon. Choose your options below from the drop down menus.
Do it yourself Bridal Sashes are becoming more and more popular simply because it is cheaper and they are very easy to make when you have the right products. With this listing you are purchasing the rhinestone ends to apply to your own bridal sash ribbon. You are not purchasing a bridal sash or ribbon, only the rhinestone ends. You are purchasing two pieces for both ends of your ribbon.
You can choose your color silver (SOLD OUT) or gold(WE ONLY HAVE GOLD) with crystal rhinestones and your size. You will choose the size according to the size of your ribbon. Such as 2" or 1", the row is how many rows of rhinestones you want on the end. 4 row would be 4 rows of rhinestones on each side of the ribbon. It is your choice if you would want to only cover one side of your ribbon with rhinestones. If you would like to do this you can cut the pieces in half. We cover both sides of our ribbons and we use double faced satin ribbon for a shine on both sides and from every angle.
4 row rhinestone ends can be trimmed to 3 row. If you want us to cut it for you choose the 3 row option. The price on these two are the same.
The pieces are cut from a large sheet of small rhinestones. The rhinestones are made of real crystal glass. The settings around them look like metal but they appear to be made of resin or acrylic. They can be cut with a pair of scissors fairly easy. To apply the ends all you need is an iron and a towel. The back of the rhinestone end is plastic that melts with exposure to heat.
Fold the end in half and lay your ribbon in between. Lay a thin towel over it and set a hot iron on it for approximately 5-10 seconds. Check to see if the rhinestones are holding good to the ribbon. Try to lift the rhinestones from the ribbon, if you can not pull them from the ribbon then they are set. Turn the ribbon over and repeat this process on the other side.
Tips: Always make sure your rhinestone end is trimmed well so no plastic shows on the ribbon. Be careful and get your rhinestone ends straight on your ribbon. Do not iron back and forth just set the iron directly down on the towel. If your rhinestones do not look straight enough when you first remove the iron you can push them a little to straighten. They do not move easy, it takes some hard pushing but they will move a little while the plastic is drying to the ribbon.
